TRAINING SESSIONS
Boxing sessions for youths aged 11 to 17 years old.
Youth Boxing sessions are age appropriate, structured, and focused on developing:
- Boxing fundamentals
- Coordination and movement
- Physical literacy
- Discipline and confidence
Beginners are welcome! Start with a Youth Boxing Fundamentals session which forms the foundation for all other boxing training.
Please bring hand wraps, comfortable training clothes, indoor trainers, and a water bottle to your training session.
All sessions are coached by a Level 2 England Boxing coach with up to date first aid training, safeguarding certification, and DBS check.

Book via Gymcatch. Access to 1 youth training session. Valid for 2 weeks. One trial per person.
YOUTH BOXING FUNDAMENTALS
Start with a Youth Boxing Fundamentals session if you're new to boxing!
Youth Boxing Fundamentals sessions focus on the core building blocks of boxing technique.
Key areas covered include:
- Stance and balance
- Guard and posture
- Footwork and movement
- Basic attack and defence
- Coordination and timing
This class forms the foundation for all other boxing training.


YOUTH
BOXING FITNESS
Join a Boxing Fitness session to get boxing fit
Youth Boxing Fitness sessions are intensity and conditioning focused, while still grounded in correct boxing movement.
Sessions may include:
- Dynamic warm‑ups
- Shadow boxing
- Skipping
- Strength and conditioning exercises
- Circuits and intervals
The emphasis is on cardiovascular fitness, strength, and endurance, using boxing as the training medium.

Join a Boxing Skills session to build and improve your understanding
Youth Boxing Skills sessions are the most technically demanding sessions for youths in the timetable. They focus on applying fundamentals in more complex and challenging contexts.
Sessions may include:
- Advanced technical drills
- Partner work
- Technical and tactical exercises
- Controlled problem‑solving scenarios
- Decision‑making under pressure
These sessions are coached and controlled, with a strong emphasis on learning, and technical quality.
