Wimbledon Boxing Club SW19 offers boxing training sessions for adults and youths aged 11+ to 17 years old. 

Our sessions include Boxing Fundamentals, Boxing Fitness, and Boxing Skills.

Sessions are structured, inclusive and run with clear standards of behaviour.

Training sessions are delivered in the Studio at the all new YMCA Wimbledon, SW19.

OUR APPROACH

The coaching approach is fundamentals first.

Group sizes are kept small to support quality coaching and safe progression.

Boxing is taught as a skill, not just a workout.

Sessions are structured to help people understand boxing, build confidence, and develop skills over time.

Progress is built through regular attendance and attention to detail.

All sessions are coached by a Level 2 England Boxing coach with up to date first aid training, safeguarding certification, and DBS check.

Coaching is structured around the following principles:

- Small groups for focused coaching
- Structured sessions with clear purpose
- Fundamentals before intensity
- Consistent standards of behaviour
- Safe and appropriate progression

Please bring hand wraps, comfortable training clothes, indoor trainers, gym towel, and a water bottle to your training session. Spare gloves are available but please consider investing in your own boxing equipment.

Beginner's are welcome! Start with a Boxing Fundamentals session. 

2. BOOK a SESSION

Our passes and session bookings are powered by Gymcatch. Register, select a pass, & book your session via our booking page.


Passes are designed to support regular attendance while allowing flexibility if you miss an occasional session.

3. Arrive prepared

Sessions are delivered in the all new YMCA Wimbledon. 

Changing rooms, showers and lockers are available.

Please bring hand wraps, comfortable training clothes, indoor trainers, gym towel, and a water bottle to your training session. 

4. TRAIN & Progress

Train to learn and develop through fundamentals, fitness, and skills.

Progress is built through regular attendance and attention to detail.
